The HTML 4.01 Named Colors Reference has been formatted with accessibility and usability considerations. The Named Colors Reference List: Gray Shades is presented using the definition list format. This allows usable small screen rendering on numerous Internet devices including Internet capable cell phones and PDAs. Lists presented using tables may lose their logical relational order to the contained elements when displayed on small screen rendering devices.
Note: for XML/XHTML considerations, hex values are given using lower-case latin characters where alpha-numeric combinations represent the respective hex color value.
