Martin Taylor Jazz Guitarist

Martin Taylor is recognized as one of jazz music's most gifted guitarists having garnered critical acclaim for his previous solo releases and collaborations with Stephane Grappelli and David Grisman.

His mastery of the guitar has been likened to contemporaries such as Pat Matheney and George Benson. He is well-respected by fellow jazz musicians such as Diana Krall, Bill Wyman and Chet Atkins. He has won Best British Jazz Artist seven years in a row and took home the Best Jazz Album of the Year at the 1995 British Jazz Awards for his "Spirit Of Django" release.

Kiss And Tell marks Martin Taylor's major label debut, and finds him in magnificent and delicate form with guest musicians Kirk Whalum, Eddie Gomez and Randy Brecker among others. The tracks on the album range from the funky, romantic cover (and 1st single) "Midnight At The Oasis" to the smooth version of "The Odd Couple" and the passionate title track, with many moving journeys in between. . Kiss And Tell was produced by Steve Buckingham [Kirk Whalum, Dolly Parton]
